 It’s my pleasure and privilege to serve the downtrodden through this esteemed organization (Siliguri Subhaspally Welfare Organisation). I am extremely honoured to be the President of such an organization which at present is serving the common mass with honesty and dedication.
Inclusion of our organization in the website is a milestone to us. As a mother is proud of her growing child, I too am proud of the organization. To build this organisatioon, the members have toiled day and night. We overcame every odd and now we have our own office, medical instruments and other equipments. Our organization is like a growing child which is nourished and pampered by some kind hearted people, who have come forward to help us due to our honesty and dedication. My sincere heart feels thankful to all of them.
We provide medical facilities, through charitable health clinic, to the downtrodden people on every Saturday afternoon since 2000 wherefrom thousands of people have received necessary medical support. Keeping in mind the alarming growth of diabetic patients in our society, we run Diabetic Clinic on last Sunday of every month since 2005 in this clinic with the help of Glucometer, the latest technology of testing blood sugar level is done. We organise eye testing camp on fourth Wednesday of every month. We organise Health Awareness Programme in different Govt. Primary Schools. We provide E.C.G. test at no profit no loss basis for 365 days by a latest 6 channel digital machine. In all medical camps we try to give medicines free. We are trying to penetrate the slum and village areas and the areas where the medical facilities are inadequate.
The programmes in different streams continue all through out the year. It will be injustice to the fellow members if I do not convey my thanks to all of them who are trying all the time for the development of the organization to help the people – specially the down trodden people.
Last but not the least, I thank Hon’ble Sri Asok Bhattacharya, MIC, Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Govt. of West Bengal and Hon’ble MP Sri Saman Pathak (Rajyasabha) Govt. of India for rendering their valuable support and compassion to our small organization. I further expect help from the common people so that we can spread health awareness through out the common mass. Let us all unite ourselves and fight against ignorance ill health and in justice.
